About the Role

CACI is hiring a Systems/Software Engineer Manager to join our growing Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) Interface and Data Conversion Team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The team will be supporting the implementation of financial system interfaces and migration of data from legacy systems to Momentum Financials (a COTS product) across the VA for the next 6 years.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation of financial system interfaces and data migration from legacy systems to Momentum Financials.
Work with Momentum Financials and the Momentum database, understanding tables, relationships, and technical components used for data conversion.
Implement system integrations within an Enterprise Service Bus, including management of web-service and file-based interactions with legacy systems.
Develop and deploy services using Red Hat OpenShift or other container platforms.
Develop interfaces and execute large-scale data conversions, ensuring data reconciliation and migration across various platforms and formats.
Utilize tools and services such as Power BI, Azure SQL, SSAS, Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and SharePoint for data analytics, cleansing, and development tasks.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of related work experience and knowledge of Momentum Financials.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
US citizenship is required.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team to solve problems.
Self-starter with quick learning ability and flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with additional experience possibly substituting for education.

Nice to Have

Experience supporting the development of interfaces and/or large-scale data conversions.
Experience with Atleryx Designer.
Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Ability to write and execute SQL statements.
Experience supporting the development of interfaces and/or large-scale data conversions.
Experience developing and deploying services in Red Hat OpenShift or other container platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
