About the Role

The Technical Alignment Manager at MSI Metro Sales Inc. is a client-facing role based in Plymouth, MN, responsible for learning, documenting, and presenting proposals and alignment reviews to ensure clients' technology usage aligns with best practices standards. The role involves promoting technology alignment objectives, performing standards and alignment reviews, developing and maintaining technical information, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support clients' infrastructure and growth within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and promote Technology Alignment objectives, as well as the roles and functions of internal delivery teams.
  • Perform Standards and Alignment Reviews to maintain and improve clients' infrastructure.
  • Develop, update, and maintain accurate technical information and environments.
  • Maintain, update, and phase out assigned Clients Standards templates.
  • Identify technical risk and coordinate with internal delivery teams appropriately.
  • Maintain and organize project files.
  • Adhere to best practices and provide recommendations to the vCIO.
  • Promote, set expectations and educate on how to engage our world class services.
  • Oversee assigned projects in terms of resourcing, quality, and output to maximize ROI.
  • Develop both Business and Technical partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain relevant knowledge of hardware, and software trends.
  • Participate and promote Quality Assurance (QA) objectives, processes, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 2+ years prior experience in IT administration and/or technical support experience, or equivalent.
  • Proven knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware, and software applications in a Microsoft Environment.
  • Proven exceptional customer services experience.
  • Clean driving record and reliable vehicle.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Computer-related industry certifications in technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Azure, Fortinet, networking, storage, and security.
  • Experience in training, mentoring and development of internal and external clients.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 2+ years prior experience in IT administration and/or technical support experience, or equivalent.
