About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation across multiple projects and platforms.
• Review and enhance technical content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible documentation.
• Develop and maintain style guides and documentation standards.
• Create and edit supporting graphics and visual elements to enhance technical communications.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines while maintaining version control.
• Support proposal development and customer-facing communications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in technical writing or editing.
• Experience with documentation tools and content management systems.
• Ability to use a strong command of English grammar, style, and technical writing conventions.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, English, Journalism, History, or Communications field.

• Experience with graphic design tools and visual communication software.
• Experience working with engineering or software development teams.
• Experience with defense or federal government documentation.
• Experience in proposal writing or editing.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Knowledge of technical documentation best practices and standards.
• Possession of excellent project management skills.
• Master's degree in a related field.
• Professional Technical Writing Certification.
