Technical Intern (Summer 2025) - Onsite - Chesterfield & St. Peters, MO (Saint Louis) - Multiple Positions

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tasks requiring the application of standard technical techniques and procedures, including standard design of systems, correcting and updating designs.
• Assist lead engineers with various project duties and other assigned tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Complete equipment failure investigations using root cause analysis techniques.
• Work closely with Maintenance leaders to ensure preventive & predictive maintenance.
• Assist in the management of the company's technical documentation.
• Assist in developing ideas and opportunities to improve production equipment health and performance.
• Organize, update, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and analytical equipment maintenance PM and repair documentation.
• Handle daily challenges to apply problem-solving skills.
• Respond to general questions related to technical tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program related to the work in the department.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs.
• Eager learner with the aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, collaborative, and friendly demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong conceptual and analytical thinking.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in manufacturing and data center environments with shifting and extreme temperatures.
• Ability to wear PPE as appropriate for environmental hazards.

Nice to Have

• Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
• Experience utilizing Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Prior internship and/or related work experience.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a post-secondary education or technical program related to the work.
