Technical Service Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform product and process optimization activities on site at customer locations, including testing process fluids, creating and distributing routine reports, monitoring product inventories, and reducing usage and costs.
• Identify and document savings projects or process improvements for presentation and approval by the customer, working with the site team to implement these projects.
• Partner with Commercial teams to ensure that financial goals are met, promote shared savings programs, and drive savings to meet unit cost targets.
• Create, implement, and train customers on SOPs for specific product applications to ensure efficient and effective performance.
• Acquire, record, and analyze process and usage data to establish baseline metrics.
• Provide input for customer presentations to justify proposed projects and demonstrate benefits of completed proposals.
• Interact with CMS, customer’s production and technical personnel, and other suppliers.
• Assist in plant surveys and sales projects to quantify savings and process improvement opportunities, and participate in proposal preparation.
• Comply with all Company Policies, including the Code of Conduct and expense reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required in Chemistry, Engineering, or any relevant business-related area.
• Minimum of 1 year related industry experience required.

• Ability to work independently and/or with minimal supervision.
• Communication skills - Written, verbal, and active listening.
• Proficient in English - Written and spoken.
• Must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or relevant business area.
• At least 1 year of industry experience.
