About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Technology Architect-Java Microservices. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Key Responsibilities

Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.
Create high level design artifacts and deliver high quality code deliverables for a module.
Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
Determine overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards.
Document and communicate designs, estimates, and implementation plans to program stakeholders.
Partner with business stakeholders and technology leaders to translate program requirements into technical solutions and system design.
Work with engineering leaders on the definition and delivery of highly scalable and secure SaaS solutions.
Design proof-of-concept pilots and work closely with technical leads to drive successful POC implementations.
Provide leadership guidance to engineers, QA, and product stakeholders.
Work in a fast-paced and agile environment, writing secure, high-performance code.

Requirements

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.
This position may require travel.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
8 years of experience in Java full stack, Java Springboot and Microservices, Angular/React, jBPM or any other BPM product, RESTful, Kafka, and K8S with knowledge of Cloud Implementation - Azure, Kubernetes/Docker.
Experience in creating the technological vision, driving technology strategy, and ensuring the technical design of the platform.
Knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks, and standards.
Strong experience in working with engineering leaders on scalable and secure SaaS solutions.
Ability to write good quality, secure, and highly performant code.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Cloud Implementation - Azure, Kubernetes/Docker.
Experience in developing and deploying Microservices, Data Modelling, Database Design, Tuning Design Parameters, Normalization, Solving Performance bottlenecks.
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and understanding of OO concepts and design patterns.
Experience in Middleware, Open-Source tools, and technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
