About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complex requirements, enhance, modify, and maintain applications in the Financial Crimes technology to accomplish business goals.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs as well as support activities for application maintenance.
• Work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of business requirements, environments, and technological alternatives to recommend innovations.
• Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements, estimate work, and perform proof of concept to mitigate risk.
• Set up and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
• Handle technical aspects of the application including Change Management, Maintenance, Platform Upgrades, and requirement changes.
• Demonstrate data sourcing, analysis, and modeling skills to support large-scale financial crimes data sourcing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Developers to ensure best practices and governance.
• Partner with the business to develop plans and success measures, analyze present-state, and facilitate implementation.
• Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelines.
• Follow Agile practices and ensure all Enterprise Change Standards are met.

Requirements

• Experience in Teradata 16.x or higher, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, and Informatica 10.x.
• Proficiency in UNIX Shell scripting, Autosys, Cloudera CDP, Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark, Scala), and data analysis.
• Strong data sourcing, data modeling, and provisioning skills supporting large-scale AML monitoring and surveillance data assets.
• Experience with database-intensive development, data migrations, and conversions.
• Knowledge of SQL performance tuning.
• Ability to handle design/build, hands-on development, and coordination in distributed environments.
• Engagement with business stakeholders and requirement discovery.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, CICD tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Good knowledge of Unix and shell script development.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Hadoop, Python, ReactJS.
• Business knowledge in financial domains related to Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline.

• Hourly pay rate between $65.00/hr - $68.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
