Key Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops tools, processes, and best practices to facilitate functional test regression.
  • Communicates design and test strategy through demonstrations, hands-on tutorials, and technical documentation.
  • Interacts with Rockwell automation software, hardware, and firmware products in physical and virtualized lab environments.
  • Maintains documentation, databases, and processes.
  • Analyzes regression results and summarizes inconsistencies.
  • Prioritizes and executes multiple activities in parallel.
  • Works closely with product teams to ensure proper test coverage and timelines.
  • Clearly communicates and conveys concepts, both verbally and written.
  • Learns and understands complex automation and control system concepts.
  • Shares lessons learned, documents processes, and conducts team de-briefs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; sponsorship for visas is not provided.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Typically requires 2 years of experience in Test Engineering, Software or Applications Engineering, DevOps, Technical Support, Quality Assurance, or other SDLC engineering roles.
  • Working knowledge of Python, Java, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with Rest APIs or custom web services.
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of software development and test methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of test case management and execution tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation products or other industrial control equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US.
