Key Responsibilities

You will be tasked with training an AI in planning, designing and deploying software tools that accelerate the development of test programs for Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Work with engineers to understand the best workflow and how best to translate that into automated outputs.
Create user friendly interfaces to ensure hardware focused engineers can use the tools and reduce development time.
Validate the software output on ATE platforms, drive the tester, analyze the data against released software, and iterate until a 100% complete solution is achieved.
Be exposed to testing concepts for LNAs, PAs, Filters, Digital Protocols, etc.
Contribute to the long-term goal of reducing the development time for new products to be released.

Requirements

Major in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
3-5 years of study (Bachelor's level: junior/senior or first year Master's).
A solid background in basic electrical engineering principles.
A solid background in software engineering principles, ideally in C/C++.
Willingness to work cross-discipline in both hardware and software engineering.
Introductory knowledge of AI principles.
Willing to work onsite for a 6-month Co-Op term (Jan - May/June 2026).

Nice to Have

Knowledge of RF/MW Engineering principles and concepts such as IP3, NF, P1DB, Modulation.
Knowledge of Digital Protocols deployed for Front-End ICs including I2C, I3C, SPI, MIPI.
Strong background in both Windows and Linux operating systems and ability to create executables from shared codebase.
Strong understanding of OOP, standards, threading, etc., in C/C++.
Experience with advanced scripting languages such as Powershell, Python, Ruby.
Desire to learn AI programming and streamline software creation with minimal input.
Good understanding of revision control software like git (preferred) and svn.

Qualifications

Educational background in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Study level of 3-5 years (Bachelor's or first-year Master's).

Benefits & Perks

Pay range for Engineering interns: USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour.
Pay range for Non-Engineering interns: USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour.
Starting pay depends on education level, job duties, requirements, and work location.
