Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the centralized UI/UX Team, bringing cross-company branding and identity to a global level across security product user interfaces.
  • Collaborate daily/weekly with teammates through engineer standups, team meetings, 1:1s, development demos, sprint planning, and UX design scrub meetings.
  • Build, debug, and maintain scalable, responsive, high-quality front-end solutions following best practices that function effectively across various platforms and devices.
  • Implement high-fidelity designs into smooth, intuitive, and easy-to-use user interfaces.
  • Leverage Figma (or alternative design tools) to bridge the gap between design and development.
  • Participate in code review and open-brainstorm sessions.
  • Help facilitate JIRA scrum tasks following agile methodologies.
  • Work with REST APIs and JSON, ensuring proper integration and functionality.
  • Test and debug at all stages of the SDLC, ensuring quality and security standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on front-end development.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SASS (or comparable CSS preprocessor), Bootstrap, JavaScript, and React.js/Jest.
  • Experience with UX design collaboration and knowledge of Figma or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with WCAG Accessibility Standards 2.2 Level AA.
  • Comfort using Git for version control and Webpack for automation.
  • Experience working with design systems and understanding their ecosystem.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects across various code bases with accountability and self-management.
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals and client-side security best practices.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge and experience working in data security.
  • Scrum master/project management experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs to OpenAPI 3.0 specification.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and understand natural language processing (NLP) for human-AI interaction.
  • Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Experience building Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with code quality tools like Snyk and SonarQube.
  • Design and prototyping skills.
  • Experience working with Docker Containers.

Qualifications

  • College degree and/or demonstrated deep expertise in front-end engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and code bases independently.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of client-side security practices.
