About the Role

The UI/UX Designer at Century Business Solutions, headquartered in Irvine, California, will join the software development team to create visual and interaction designs for payment processing applications. The role involves developing high-quality, multi-platform designs that align with business goals, ensuring PCI compliance, and working with major ERP and online shopping cart integrations. The designer must have a strong understanding of visual design, interaction design, formative research, and information architecture, with a customer-centric mindset and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Leading and contributing design concepts and delivering high-quality, multi-platform designs in line with business goals.
Generate, conceptualize, brainstorm, and execute ideas that bring brand attributes and products to life.
Maintain strong knowledge of design trends, industry standards, and best practices with the ability to bring fresh and distinctive visual designs to each project.
Refine other people's ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience.
Devise creative solutions to challenging UX problems.
Create production-ready UX/UI workflows ready for implementation.
Produce prototypes to support UI engineers as required.
Collaborate with teams to review and ensure difficult UX features can be executed accurately against design concepts.
Work with product leads and sales staff in building custom dashboards and visualizations.
Embody high creative standards, providing detailed direction and insight to design and product teams.
Work cross-functionally to help identify user requirements to shape and prioritize features.

Requirements

Must have a portfolio link to be considered.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or relevant creative field.
3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.
Strong track record for bringing well-designed, user-friendly websites, desktop applications, and mobile applications to market.
Deep knowledge of digital design techniques and tools, including typography, layouts, and responsive design.
Ability to thrive and effectively communicate in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Highly motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and processes.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Proficient in design applications, including Figma.
Experience with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript (preferred).
Prior experience designing payment or accounting-related software (preferred).
Prior experience designing field service software for mobile and desktop (preferred).
