About the Role

Urban Outfitters is hiring a Digital Analyst who will provide ongoing and ad-hoc data reports and insights to key digital stakeholders to optimize the digital experience. The role involves developing reports, automating performance metrics, and analyzing data to inform website, product, and marketing strategies within a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual reports, as well as executing ad hoc requests.
  • Proactively identify, prioritize, and conduct analyses that drive meaningful change on key objectives established by the UO leadership team.
  • Automate and standardize business processing to improve efficiency.
  • Understand and interrogate data via Google BigQuery (SQL) and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Conduct quality assurance of others' SQL scripts and analyses.
  • Analyze site/app performance metrics, determining factors that lead to subscriber acquisition and retention.
  • Inform Google Analytics tagging requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating data into insights.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the meaning and intent behind their questions, not just perform question and answer services.
  • Partner with stakeholders to inform strategy.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant experience on a Digital team, with a preference for E-commerce experience.
  • Intermediate-level experience with SQL to query, manipulate, and analyze data.
  • Ability to QA and interrogate queries to resolve bugs.
  • Experience with Site Analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and Microstrategy is preferred.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with success working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen and provide clear recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with Microstrategy.
