The role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer I, is based in NYC with a hybrid work model, and involves working within the ETF Technology Team to develop and maintain web applications, primarily using Micro-Services architecture, Spring Framework, and REST APIs, to support asset servicing and investment management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Spring Framework and REST APIs.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure system safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers as a team player.
  • Work with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Java/JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API, and SQL.
  • Thorough knowledge of designing and architecting micro-service-based application platforms, including frontend and backend development.
  • Extensive experience with transactional systems and leading RDBMS such as SQL Server and Oracle.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Git/GitLab, Jenkins, Team City, TDD, and project lifecycle activities.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Experience in building and maintaining large-scale software products utilizing microservices.
  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps, production support, and performance engineering.
