About the Role

The Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer II role involves leading and contributing to software development projects within the financial services industry. The position requires a strong technical background in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies, and a solid understanding of SDLC and DevOps processes. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, API development, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions using Java, Angular, and related technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RESTful APIs and front-end UI components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features in accordance with SDLC and DevOps best practices.
Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git.
Monitor application performance using tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, and Moogsoft.
Participate in Scrum methodologies and contribute to a fast-paced development environment.

Requirements

7-9 years of experience in software development.
Proficiency in Java 8 or higher and front-end UI technologies including Core JavaScript, Angular 11 or higher, CSS, and HTML.
Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
Solid coding and troubleshooting experience on RESTful APIs.
Strong SQL skills for working with relational databases.
Experience with SDLC and DevOps processes, including CI/CD tools and Git.
Good understanding of monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and Moogsoft.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new skills with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
