Windows DevOps Engineer IIS/.NET/Middleware

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows-based environments (Windows Server 2012/2016).
• Deploy and support .NET applications integrated with IIS and other middleware components.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and QA teams to support integrated and independent releases.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.
• Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell and DevOps tools.
• Maintain pristine, production-like test environments.
• Participate in system patching, server rebuilds, and technical documentation.
• Support after-hours and weekend deployments as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server (2012/2016) and IIS.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET application integration and middleware support.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, XLR, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of multi-tier applications, networking, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and environment management best practices.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Java Runtime Environments (JRE) and other middleware technologies.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
