Workday Technical Lead

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, testing, and implementation of Workday integrations across all IT and business systems.
• Lead evaluation of new and existing systems to determine integration requirements and provide solutions using services, workflows, and tools that align with enterprise strategies and architectural principles.
• Manage daily support operations, ensuring system availability and performance using best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation for integration processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Design and develop integrations between internal and third-party systems, including SaaS solutions.
• Support, troubleshoot, and maintain applications and integrations.
• Contribute to system architecture design to ensure scalability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solutions design, development, and QA with business users.
• Monitor integrations proactively, perform operational best practices, and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience.
• 5-6 years of experience in building integrations within the Workday ecosystem using cloud connectors, EIB, and Workday Studio.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office lifecycle management and managing third-party licenses.
• Knowledge of system architecture and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of HR technology tools and domain knowledge.
• Experience with web services and APIs, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of security and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and SAML.
• Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and work effectively with business users.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications
