About the Role

The Terex Early Talent Program is a strategic initiative designed to identify and develop the future leaders of our global organization. Opportunities include three month internships, six month co-ops, and three year long rotational Leadership Development Programs (LDP). From day one, students are immersed in meaningful, real-world projects that directly contribute to business outcomes. The program invests in the personal and professional growth of early talent, with the goal of converting high-performing interns and co-ops into full-time LDP participants. Early talent candidates are selected for long-term leadership potential, and are provided with tools, mentorship, and experiences to build a strong foundation for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a part of the Manufacturing Strategy team in the Global Operations function at Genie
  • Analyze manufacturing data and make recommendations to optimize cost and manufacturing capacity/capabilities
  • Conduct market research to understand and analyze the business environment, market dynamics, and competitor activities
  • Conceptualize and develop analytical tools to enhance data-driven decision-making within the organization
  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, and supply chain groups
  • Learn the Genie product portfolio and understand key strategic decision making, specifically around vertical integration and Make/Buy decisions across the global manufacturing footprint
  • Support Project Management activities

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a similar field
  • Able to work full-time 40 hours per week for 3 months in Bothell, WA
  • Ability to use standard office and business software tools
  • Curiosity to understand and learn
  • Attention to detail and drive to ask "why"

Nice to Have

  • Interest in joining Leadership Development Programs after graduation
  • Are adaptable, innovative, and proactive
  • Ability to communicate with team members across the organization from the shop floor to leadership
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, Python, or other analytical tools

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields such as Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain

  • Compensation of $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns
