2026 - Customer Development Summer Intern

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of a dynamic team to identify and execute omni-channel business-building opportunities for key retailers such as Kroger, Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, and Amazon.
• Work cross-functionally with internal partners including Marketing, Customer Strategy, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, and IT.
• Learn how to activate against Marketing 4Ps (Product, Placement, Pricing & Promotion) every day.
• Gain foundational Retailer, Category, and Shopper analytical and insights skills by working with data sources like IRI, Nielsen, POS, and Shopper/Panel.
• Have exposure to data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power PBI, Nielsen Panel, Numerator, and Profitero.
• Engage in ongoing development through onboarding, monthly Lunch and Learns, networking, and mentorship programs.
• Execute retail walks to research in-store activation and strategies.
• Support the new item launch process and help manage the digital PDP (product description page).
• Execute retail and consumer initiatives and additional projects supporting key business initiatives and omni-channel, digital-first strategy.

Requirements

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H1-B status).
• Current undergraduate student enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
• Able to complete a 10-week internship from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026, in one of the specified locations: Buffalo Grove, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Cumberland, RI; Rogers, AR; Minneapolis, MN; or Summit, NJ.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, during the internship period.
• Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required; proficiency in advanced analytics platforms is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Concentration major of Marketing, Business-focus, or Finance.
• Exposure to data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power PBI, Nielsen Panel, Numerator, and Profitero.
• Experience with data sources including Circana (IRI), Nielsen, POS, and Shopper/Panel.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
