About the Role

The Account Based Marketing (ABM) Strategy Manager at U.S. Bank is a strategic marketer responsible for designing and executing high-impact, data-driven ABM programs that drive pipeline growth and deepen client relationships across U.S. Bank's Corporate and Institutional segments. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leveraging insights, technology, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver personalized, multi-channel experiences that engage key accounts. Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead integrated ABM strategies aligned to business priorities, leveraging first- and third-party data to define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), Total Addressable Market (TAM), and buying committees.
  • Build and manage omni-channel campaigns tailored to account needs and personas across the funnel, aligning internal stakeholders and managing execution from concept to optimization.
  • Apply a test-and-learn mindset to continuously refine campaigns using performance analytics and stakeholder feedback.
  • Partner with sales, analytics, product, and marketing operations to ensure alignment and integration across the customer journey, acting as a strategic advisor to sales on account engagement.
  • Champion the evolution from ABM to Account-Based Experience (ABX), orchestrating marketing and sales engagement across prospect and customer lifecycles to deliver coordinated, high-value experiences.
  • Leverage experience with B2B marketing and sales technology to build and deliver personalized, trigger-based experiences, and use data to communicate business impact to partners across marketing, sales, and adjacent organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Six or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results.

Nice to Have

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in ABM or strategic marketing roles.
  • Proven success in designing and executing ABM programs that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of ABX principles, lifecycle marketing, and sales alignment.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and ABM platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
