Account Executive - Hospice

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed territory admission goals, including meeting short- and long-term target account objectives.
• Develop relationships with key facility accounts and service these accounts in a legal and compliant manner.
• Make sufficient sales calls to meet with 8-10 decision makers per day.
• Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge to effectively present Traditions' values and expertise.
• Partner with the clinical team to ensure high levels of service and support to patients, referral sources, and the community.
• Educate referral sources on the components of the company's services and conduct public education about home health care and hospice services.
• Assist with the development and implementation of quarterly Strategic Business Plans and maintain target lists.
• Prioritize accounts according to the market sales plan and develop networking relationships in the community.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, referral sources, expenses, and reports in CRM and submit them timely.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and complete assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 years healthcare-specific outside sales experience preferred or considerable transferrable experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective technical selling skills and good presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and management skills.
• Ability to establish and expand relationships with diverse referral sources.
• Comfortable making cold calls and creating territory sales plans.
• Reliable transportation with valid auto insurance and a current driver's license.
• Ability to work in a routine office environment with a flexible schedule, including extended hours and local travel.
• Prolonged sitting and some standing; ability to lift, pull, carry, and push items up to 50 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under stressful conditions.

• Experience in healthcare or hospice services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 years healthcare outside sales experience preferred.
