Account Executive Hospice

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed territory admission goals, aiming for 8-10 admissions per month within 4-6 months of productivity.
• Develop relationships with key facility accounts and service these accounts in a legal and compliant manner.
• Make sufficient sales calls to meet with 8-10 decision makers daily.
• Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge to effectively present Traditions' values and expertise.
• Partner with the clinical team to ensure high-quality service and support to patients, referral sources, and the community.
• Educate referral sources on the components of the company's services and conduct public education about home health care and hospice services.
• Assist with the development and implementation of quarterly Strategic Business Plans and maintain target lists.
• Prioritize accounts according to the market sales plan and develop networking relationships in the community.
• Respond to customer complaints promptly and resolve referral source concerns appropriately.
• Gather materials needed for patient admission and maintain accurate records in CRM, including sales calls, expense reports, and target lists.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and complete assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years healthcare-specific outside sales experience preferred or considerable transferrable experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective technical selling skills and good presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and management skills.
• Ability to establish and expand relationships with diverse referral sources.
• Comfortable making cold calls and creating territory sales plans.
• Reliable transportation with valid auto insurance and a current driver's license.
• Ability to work in a routine office environment with a flexible schedule and extended hours.
• Prolonged sitting and some standing; ability to lift, pull, carry, and push items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions, meet deadlines, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

• Experience with CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 years healthcare outside sales experience preferred.
