Job Description

About the Role

The Distribution Analyst works within the sales function of the organization to gain communication and organizational skills through proactive phone work and expense management. This job learns and builds the foundational blocks of how the asset management business operates and is provided with opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedules calls to existing clients and prospects in a proactive manner.
  • Schedules appointments based on travel routes and focus lists, while keeping all shared notes and calendar invites organized and accessible.
  • Reviews and submits expense reports to Finance, where accuracy and timeliness are key.
  • Processes check requests for meeting reimbursement and charitable contributions.
  • Orders literature for upcoming meetings or as a follow-up to Financial Advisor meetings.
  • Updates meeting notes capture and updates in the customer relationship management system.
  • Coordinates and facilitates conference calls, compliance reviews and updates weekly marketing packets.
  • Aggregates team success stories, campaign feedback, seminars and COI event for reporting to leadership.
  • Puts CUSIPs/par amounts or MF tickers into Excel for muni/matrix reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • No Experience Required; 2+ Years Preferred
  • Interest in obtaining FINRA licensing
  • Related Skills: Business Development, Capital Markets, Client Relationship Management, Client Segmentation, Collaboration, Consultative Communication, Digital Savviness, Drives for Results, Nuveen Products/Services Acumen, Sales, Territory Management

Nice to Have

  • 2+ years in Financial Services experience
  • Prior Financial Services internship experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
