This Account Manager position will support a health plan client in Hawaii, requiring work during Hawaii hours (8am - 5pm Hawaii time zone). The role involves managing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving customer success, with a focus on excellent communication, proactive problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all operational-related matters.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs, resolving issues promptly, and providing exceptional service.
  • Analyze complex client needs and assist in developing practical and efficient solutions, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data analysis and case resolution.
  • Maintain responsiveness, reliability, and accuracy in service execution.
  • Respond to client inquiries and escalations, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly, and maintain consistent communication with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Be a customer advocate and use internal resources to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Maintain reporting and tracking of client issues.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on account status, client feedback, and areas for improvement.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate, ensuring a smooth and positive client experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, participate in training sessions to improve competencies, and share insights with colleagues to foster growth and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a client/customer service-based environment or in a previous Account Manager role.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, focusing on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Web applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) industry helpful but not required.
  • Experience working with multiple intranet and extranet systems, CRM, or adjudication platforms (e.g., SalesForce, Peoplesafe, AS400 system knowledge).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
