Job Description

About the Role

The Activation Communications Coordinator supports senior executives at a client site and reports to a senior manager responsible for managing internal communications and strategic initiatives on complex infrastructure projects. This hybrid position is based in Seattle, WA, with a focus on facilitating communication, tracking strategic initiatives, and coordinating interdepartmental efforts within the rail and transit industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking the implementation of multiple strategic initiatives related to system expansion
  • Preparing notes and tracking follow-up activities and assignments
  • Facilitating the workflow and prioritization of multiple complex projects and initiatives
  • Coordinating interdepartmental communications across multiple units and internal stakeholders
  • Assist in preparing communications with external partners
  • Assist in the production of high-quality written communications materials such as presentations and briefs to executives that concisely synthesize complex issues
  • Other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years of prior experience
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to be discreet and respect the protection of sensitive information
  • Ability to work with a diverse team of engineers and other professionals on complex projects
  • A high degree of competency using MS Word, PowerPoint and other typical software packages

Nice to Have

  • A College degree is preferred but may be substituted by a high degree of relevant experience
