Advertising Specialist - Petersburg

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal Live! departments on marketing needs, including tournaments, promotions, parties, and special events to produce coupons, brochures, posters, signage, invitations, advertising, and other requested materials.
• Track expenditures, generate reports, support media buys, reconcile invoices, and manage the marketing budget.
• Meet with third-party account executives to review advertising opportunities.
• Coordinate with outside advertising agency on media buys, collateral material, creative, and design work.
• Work closely with vendors on collateral production.
• Track over 100 jobs per month, ensuring they stay on timeline and within budget.
• Assist with building a strong image of involvement and commitment to the community.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a high-volume company or industry related to hospitality or public-supported business through media and advertising.
• Ad Agency experience strongly desired.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to generate a project from concept to completion and collaborate with others.
• Ability to work in an environment exposed to alcohol and smoking.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or other regulatory entities.

• Previous gaming experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy casino environment.
• Physical ability to sit (60%), walk (25%), stand (15%), and keyboard (50%).
