About the Role

The Solution Consultant will fill a critical role in the Commercial West Financial Services team at ServiceNow, developing, positioning, and providing industry and product-specific solutions during sales cycles. The role involves partnering with sales executives as a technical and domain expert, leading discovery workshops, providing product demonstrations, and supporting marketing events to drive sales and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales executives as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team.
  • Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners, and colleagues.
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and add value.
  • Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to improve team quality and efficiency.
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • 5+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions.
  • Background selling into the Financial Services industries (banking, lending, insurance, etc.).
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with sales partners to guide execution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

  • Experience with automating workflows and analyzing AI-driven insights.
