About the Role

The Agency Distribution Program Consultant supports the execution of Meemic Entrepreneurial Agent sales distribution programs within AAA The Auto Club Group. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert, providing advanced insight and trusted counsel on sales agent program channel distribution, operational processes, and project initiatives. The position requires working independently and collaboratively to improve operational efficiency, develop and support agent program initiatives, and manage distribution projects to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of Meemic Entrepreneurial Agent sales distribution programs, working independently with guidance in complex situations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant on sales agent program channel distribution, operations, and process improvements.
  • Review business plans, product reports, and forecasting models to understand action items for agency growth, profitability, and production goals.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to develop and support agent program initiatives to meet or exceed company objectives.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners as a liaison.
  • Lead or participate in distribution projects of various scales, managing project plans, schedules, and resources.
  • Conduct gap analysis, needs assessments, and develop operational process improvements.
  • Perform cost/benefit analysis, identify budget implications, and recommend operational strategies.
  • Forecast project outcomes and communicate with leadership.
  • Participate in end-user testing, validate processes, and document procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate all requirements for office openings, including contract processes, training, marketing, and resource education.
  • Assist in resolving escalated issues and foresee potential problems.
  • Identify and recommend innovative solutions to complex problems and act as a resource for less experienced staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in project planning and management, workflow coordination, and data analysis.
  • Ability to prepare reports, business plans, and proposals for management levels.
  • Knowledge of sales distribution channels, insurance products, and business practices.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with process improvement strategies and project management techniques.
  • Understanding of financial projections, policies, and procedures documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for complex information dissemination.
  • Ability to analyze markets and provide data for management review.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Possession and maintenance of applicable State P&C license for selling Auto Club Group products and services.
  • Insurance industry designations such as IIA, CLU, CIC, CPCU.
  • Experience overseeing the opening of insurance offices or entrepreneurial locations.
  • Experience with Meemic products and services.
  • Knowledge of insurance distribution channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in project management, data analysis, and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of sales channels and insurance products.
