Key Responsibilities

Lead the identification and cultivation of strategic partnerships that align with BILL's mission and growth strategy to create distribution channels and enhance product offerings.
Cultivate and nurture relationships with potential partners, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to foster collaboration opportunities.
Lead negotiations, structuring, and execution of partnership agreements to drive business growth and create win-win scenarios.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new markets, verticals, and channels for expansion, ensuring industry innovation.
Represent BILL as a thought leader at conferences, events, and forums to showcase expertise and strengthen reputation.
Mentor and guide a team of business development professionals, fostering their growth and professional development.
Utilize data and market trends to inform decision-making, refine strategies, and seize new opportunities.

Requirements

8+ years of success in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances within the technology or financial services sectors.
Deep understanding of the fintech landscape, SaaS models, and emerging market trends.
Ability to anticipate market shifts and identify partnership opportunities aligned with company mission.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships at all organizational levels.
Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, deal structuring, and partnership agreement execution.
Proven leadership skills to lead, mentor, and inspire teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and navigate uncertain situations.
