About the Role

AI Architect at MARVEL INFOTECH Inc, based in Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days onsite. The role involves developing and supporting a GenAI platform, designing solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven functionalities within chatbot platforms. The position requires a senior-level professional with extensive experience in AI, chatbots, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new functionality of the GenAI platform and support end-to-end use cases.
Design and implement solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) via direct APIs and Retrieval Augmented-Generation (RAG).
Optimize performance for latency, costs, concurrency, while maintaining high accuracy and security.
Assess end-to-end design and performance of backend systems such as authentication, authorization, databases, and APIs.
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver new features and use cases within the chatbot platform.
Work closely with stakeholders, tech-leads, and product owners on prioritized features.
Design solutions, develop code, and assist junior team members with implementation and code reviews.

Requirements

Understanding of end-to-end solution patterns of chatbots, GenAI solutions, and related trade-offs.
Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders and technical teams in an agile environment.
Strong programming experience in Python, NodeJS, and Java.
Experience developing and consuming APIs that interact with LLMs.
Experience with prompt engineering with LLMs and understanding of their advantages and limitations.
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure (AWS preferred).
Fluency in core concepts of RAG, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, AI, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Strong understanding of concurrency, latency, and trade-offs between accuracy, cost, and security.

Nice to Have

Experience with traditional conversational AI platforms.
Experience with Maven, Jenkins, BitBucket, Kendo, Horizon.
Experience working with teams in different locations and coordinating tasks.
Experience setting up CI/CD automation.
Experience with build tools such as JIRA, BitBucket, Maven, Git, Horizon, Jenkins, or other containerized environments.
RDBMS experience with Exadata, Oracle PL/SQL scripting, Neo4j.
