AI Data Engineering Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leads a team of Data Scientists to implement AI and Agentic AI to achieve desired business outcomes through UCAP.
• Utilizes machine learning based tools to monitor and analyze model performance.
• Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in complex data and deliver recommendations for business and analytic decisions.
• Evaluates the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and gathering techniques.
• Develops data-driven solutions for difficult business challenges.
• Collaborates with all Scrum Teams to integrate AI and Agentic AI into the workflow functionality for UCAP.
• Reviews test results for compliance against desired VBA outcomes.
• Uses professional judgment, critical thinking skills, and research to improve processes and resolve issues affecting program performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business related field, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline with at least 10+ years of experience.
• Must have 5+ years of experience performing statistical analysis, including predictive analytics and broader data science tools to include AI.
• Must have 4+ years of data modeling support.
• Must have 2+ years of leading a team in data analytics.
• Programming skills in R, Python, Java, or Scala.
• Understanding and experience with Agile & Lean principles & methodologies for incremental development and deployment.
• Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring detailed forms and fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience with statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and data science tools.
• Experience supporting data modeling.
• Experience leading a team in data analytics.
• Programming skills in R, Python, Java, or Scala.
