AI Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI and LLM-based applications to automate and optimize accounting and financial processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, ops, engineering, and customers) to identify high-impact areas where AI can drive business transformation.
• Develop robust, scalable prototypes and production systems using Python, Java, C#, and other modern tools.
• Build predictive models to analyze and forecast financial trends, lending activity, and other key metrics.
• Own the end-to-end development of new AI features, from ideation through production, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge AI platforms, frameworks, and APIs into our systems.
• Rapidly iterate on prototypes and production features using automated tooling and prompt engineering techniques.
• Provide training and support to internal users to ensure successful adoption and effective use of AI tools.
• Stay current on the rapidly evolving AI landscape and proactively bring relevant advancements into the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying models in production.
• Expertise in Python (strongly preferred), with experience in Java, C#, or similar languages.
