About the Role

AI Engineer Looking for an experienced Software Engineer with a deep understanding of generative AI to join the data & AI team for a large utilities company. Based in Downtown Houston, this position is perfect for those who have experience with designing, prototyping, and deploying Gen-AI applications, specifically AI Agents. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into business applications. A strong candidate will continuously evaluate model and system performance. Along with the ability to create and maintain technical documentation. Understand how to implement frameworks along with developing APIs. This is a Hybrid position reporting to the office in downtown Houston, Texas 3x a week.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into business applications.
Design, prototype, and deploy generative AI applications, specifically AI Agents.
Continuously evaluate model and system performance.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Implement frameworks and develop APIs.

Requirements

Deep understanding of generative AI and AI Agents.
Experience with RAG, Langchain/LangGraph, Prompt/prompt Library, LLMs, and DevOps.
Ability to evaluate model and system performance.
Experience with designing, prototyping, and deploying Gen-AI applications.
Strong collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant fields.
