The role involves working within the Air Dominance & Strike team to develop aerial and multi-domain robotic systems, integrating sensors into autonomy platforms, and contributing to products like Fury and Barracuda, as well as the Lattice for Mission Autonomy software platform.

Key Responsibilities

Work on integrating various sensors into autonomy platforms.
Contribute to the development of aerial and multi-domain robotic systems such as Fury and Barracuda.
Collaborate with teams like Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering to solve complex problems.
Assist in taking products from concept to deployment, including testing and real-world capability building.

Requirements

Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
1+ years of experience with and integrating various sensor systems, including cameras and GPS.
Hands-on experience with low level protocols, including UART, Ethernet, and I2C.
Proficiency with C/C++ and Python.
Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases.
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world.

Nice to Have

Strong background with focus in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and/or GNC.
Experience with DGPS/RTK GPS applications.
Experience with state filtering algorithms.
Experience with image processing.
Knowledge of distributed communication networks and message standards.
Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics.

Qualifications

Educational background with BS, MS, or PhD in relevant fields.
