About the Role

AvidXchange is expanding its development team and is looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, and energetic candidates to work in a small startup environment. The role involves collaborating within a development team to develop, test, deploy, and support AvidXchange's suite of finance products. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy and support AvidXchange's suite of software products on our SaaS infrastructure
Actively participate in the Scrum team including estimating user stories, daily stand ups and maintaining the sprint backlog
Be an advocate for delivering quality, usable, scalable software
Actively collaborate with product management as part of product planning

Requirements

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science / Data Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience working on a web application in one or more areas of the following tech stack
Experience with web application development using HTML / CSS / JavaScript, preferably with modern frameworks like Ember or React
Experience with REST-based web services, with NodeJS and Java preferred, Python a plus
Experience with SQL data storage and reporting, preferably with PostgreSQL
Work experience in Agile/Scrum SDLC
Knowledge of Linux/bash scripting, unit/integration testing, and Continuous Integration & Delivery
Experience deploying and maintaining software on IaaS/PaaS platforms, preferably with AWS and Docker
