Key Responsibilities

Performs other duties as assigned
Support performance/operational dashboards in Tableau and run reports from various performance databases such as Vizient Clinical Database Resource Manager (CDBRM), Clinical Database Resource Manager, Operational Database (ODB), and others. Refresh information on a monthly or weekly basis.
Prepare meeting materials for quality improvement meetings, such as the Quality Improvement Advisory Council (QIAC), Department Head meetings, and other quality meetings. Provide analysis of data and help users interpret results.
Write reports in Epic reporting workbench and utilize Epic Clarity reports to meet end user needs.
Act as a resource to Quality and Process Improvement groups by providing statistical and analytical support.
Provide project management support utilizing LEAN methodology concepts.
Coordinate the completion of external surveys including US News and World Report Best Hospitals Survey, AHA Annual Survey, and Leapfrog survey. Offer feedback and guidance to improve survey standings.
Assist with daily systems operations of the department and provide ongoing technical support as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Analytics, Public Health, or related field
1 - 2 years of Healthcare Analytics experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong customer service, organization, and multitasking skills
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), internet, and database applications

Nice to Have

Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Analytics, Public Health, or related field
3 - 5 years of Healthcare Analytics experience
Knowledge of industry agencies related to quality measurement such as NHSN, CMS, AHRQ
Knowledge of Vizient Clinical Database / Resource Manager (CDB/RM), Epic EMR, and LEAN methodology

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Analytics, Public Health, or related field
1 - 2 years Healthcare Analytics experience
