This is a 90-day part-time internship opportunity for a Data Insights Analyst Intern to join our team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop impactful data solutions, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., Sales, Marketing) to gather business needs and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
Design, build, and maintain impactful dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Salesforce, enabling teams to make data-driven decisions.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business goals and provide visibility into performance trends.
Leverage Salesforce's data model and objects to support reporting and analytics.
Develop compelling visualizations that clearly communicate insights and trends to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Apply best practices in data visualization to ensure clarity, usability, and accessibility of dashboards and reports.
Continuously improve visual reporting assets based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
Partner with data teams to support the development and improvement of data flows and reporting processes.
Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to maintain reliable reporting.
Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for data and reporting teams.
Contribute to the planning and enhancement of scalable data solutions in collaboration with data engineering and architecture teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, or a related field (or currently pursuing this degree).
Experience in Power BI or similar data visualization tools, with a portfolio of impactful dashboards or reports.
Experience in SQL and data analysis.
Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and its data structure.
Experience working with ETL processes and data integration workflows.
Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
Knowledge of Python or R is a plus but not required.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights clearly to diverse audiences.
