About the Role

American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Managers, Performance & Insights to identify, optimize, and implement channel integration initiatives in order to drive sustainable profitable growth in a compliant manner. Analyze customer data to develop data-driven business strategies. Diagnose business needs and establish analytical hypotheses and solutions leveraging Big Data and business intelligence tools and platforms. Refine business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and methodologies to permit strategic decision-making by senior leadership. Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, optimize, and implement channel integration initiatives to drive profitable growth.
  • Analyze customer data to develop data-driven business strategies.
  • Diagnose business needs and establish analytical hypotheses and solutions using Big Data and business intelligence tools.
  • Refine business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, and methodologies for strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and collaboration on strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience analyzing customer data to identify trends and develop business strategies.
  • Experience with analyzing complex financial datasets and performing data mining to identify commercial trends.
  • Experience developing data-based strategic initiatives to enhance business performance.
  • Experience presenting data-driven analyses to technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience creating and maintaining business intelligence systems, including MS Excel spreadsheets and MS Access databases.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as MS Excel, Tableau, and Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, C++, ER-win, MySQL Server, Python, R, RDBMS, SAS, Scrum methodologies, and SQL.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with telecommuting up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience analyzing customer data and developing business strategies
