Analytics Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Delivers well-defined, documented and tested datasets for analysis
• Creates robust data models to support analytics initiatives
• Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards
• Manage existing solutions; remediating issues, coordinating enhancements and sunsetting aged assets
• Ensures data quality and accuracy by implementing data validation, monitoring, and error-handling processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Business or STEM discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems), or a comparable combination of education and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• 3+ years of experience in building data solutions within an enterprise environment using industry standard guiding principles and practices
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, business intelligence development, or a similar role
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Scala, DAX, and/or other languages used for exploring, interacting, and engineering analytical products
• 3+ years working with ERP solutions to build data integrations, reports or analytics; ideally Microsoft Dynamics
• Advanced knowledge and experience in building data visualizations or analytics using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker and/or Sigma
• Advanced working knowledge and experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake Store), and Databricks
• Strong experience administering a reporting/visualization platform
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating new ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical partners
• Experience handling and working with PII data in compliance with relevant laws

Nice to Have

• Experience with metadata management, semantic layer/models and governance
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Business or STEM discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems)
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
