About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and build impactful, scalable, enterprise Android applications using Kotlin, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flows.
• Implement and adhere to MVVM architectural pattern and Clean Architecture principles.
• Utilize Android Jetpack components such as WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt (DI), Room, and Retrofit.
• Apply SOLID principles and design patterns in application development.
• Write and maintain unit tests using Mockito and Junit, aiming for above 80% code coverage.
• Deeply understand and apply Android lifecycle and Jetpack components.
• Write testable, clean, and maintainable code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage local data persistence.

Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years of software development experience with architecting, designing, and developing Android applications using Kotlin, Coroutines, and MVVM architecture.
• Experience with WorkManager, Navigation Component, Hilt (DI), Room, and Retrofit.
• Proficiency in Mockito and Junit for unit testing.
• Solid knowledge of Git and experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Android Jetpack components and the Android lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing local data persistence.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience with scalable enterprise application development.
• Knowledge of additional Android libraries and tools.
