Our engineering organization consists of many talented Android and iOS app developers distributed across the EU and US, working in autonomous squads responsible for their features from concept to release.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code for the Oura Android app.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to drive projects forward.
Work cross-functionally with backend, firmware, data science, research, science, and QA teams.
Partner with Android engineers across the US and EU to improve the Android codebase.
Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and platform level improvements.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Android Engineer.
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, backend, and QA.
Experience working with international teams across different regions (US and EU).
Strong communication skills and ability to contribute to technical discussions.

Nice to Have

Experience working on health or wearable technology applications.
Knowledge of reproductive health or women's health topics.
Experience with remote or distributed team collaboration.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Android app development (minimum 3 years).
Strong coding skills in relevant programming languages for Android development.
