About the Role

The Angular Developer role involves developing and maintaining web applications with a focus on UI components using JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, Bootstrap, and HTML5. The position requires experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and some Java experience. This is a contract position based in McLean, VA, and is suitable for local profiles only.

Key Responsibilities

Convert approved wireframes to deliverable web components as HTML5, JavaScript, React JS or Angular
Develop web applications and UI using JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, Bootstrap, HTML5 within all phases of the SDLC
Analyze, design, configure, code, test, debug, and install large and complex system applications in accordance with WSI methodologies and SDLC processes
Assist in analysis, design, configuration, coding, testing, and deployment readiness
Create and maintain system documentation and program specifications
Plan, estimate, and prioritize work assignments for self
Track progress and proactively identify barriers to meeting delivery commitments
Independently recognize problems inside or outside of own area
Assist users in analyzing problems with the objective of preventing recurrences and introducing process improvements

Requirements

8+ years of proven experience in UI development
Well-versed in JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, Bootstrap, HTML5
Experience with all phases of the SDLC
Some Java experience
Ability to convert wireframes into web components
Experience analyzing, designing, configuring, coding, testing, debugging, and installing large and complex system applications
