About the Role

Apple TV+ Series Social Lead - Drama Series is a leadership role within Apple's marketing organization, focused on managing social media strategies for drama series campaigns. The role involves building fandoms, driving social innovation, and ensuring brand consistency across social platforms, with a strong emphasis on storytelling, cultural relevance, and ROI. The position requires working closely with internal teams, external partners, and international marketing leads to develop and execute social content and campaigns that resonate with audiences and support overall marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage social goals, plans, and creative assets in a cross-functional team for drama series campaigns.
  • Develop and execute social campaign strategies including target audience identification, creative development, and distribution across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Drive innovation and creative excellence across all titles and assets, launching key marketing assets across social platforms.
  • Use social analytics to inform strategy, iterate on creative content, and measure success against key initiatives and metrics.
  • Oversee the full suite of content supporting a title across the social ecosystem throughout the campaign duration.
  • Manage social campaign and creative strategy with internal and external creative partners and agencies.
  • Ensure brand consistency in messaging and creative, working with various internal and external partners.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members and business lines.
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensure brand safety.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate social media into broader marketing efforts.
  • Develop content marketing and distribution strategies with key partners.
  • Lead communication with international marketing leads on social marketing strategy.
  • Work with Apple’s central marketing and communications teams to align with company-wide policies and best practices.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience managing broad, multi-platform marketing campaigns with significant reach and engagement.
  • 7-10 years of social media management, content creation, publishing, and campaign execution, either in brand or agency settings.
  • Proven experience in the entertainment industry or highly consumer-centric brands with success in social media.
  • Fluent in social media best practices and multi-channel distribution efforts.
  • Excellent communication, strategy, and creative skills.
  • Strong self-motivation, prioritization, and ability to handle large workloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working directly with talent and creators, including pitching and presenting.
  • Ability to leverage social analytics and publishing tools effectively.
  • Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills and ability to work within a matrixed organization.
