Job Description

About the Role

This role is responsible for developing and executing Global Special Events Programs that align with the Clinique brand strategy, meets Regional/local market needs, and enhance consumer engagement. The position involves spearheading the development, strategy, and execution of impactful global special events, including flagship and market-driven events, to drive business outcomes through storytelling and immersive experiences. The role requires close collaboration with global partners and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program implementation and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Global Special Events Programs, including large-scale flagship events and agile, market-driven Flash/White Lightning Events.
  • Create innovative event concepts that resonate with markets, retailers, consultants, and clients, aligning with brand strategy and regional priorities.
  • Collaborate with global partners and cross-functional teams to plan, build, and implement special event programs.
  • Manage all necessary paperwork for program execution, including runways, fact sheets, cost calculations, design validation forms, forecast assessments, and program postings on the GMW.
  • Oversee timelines, milestones, and deadlines in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop engaging kits, GWPs, and sampling strategies to support recruitment and conversion efforts.
  • Partner with Product Development for the creation and maintenance of exclusive shades for sampling programs.
  • Ensure regions receive comprehensive event execution details and facilitate seamless implementation via GMW and email correspondence.
  • Work with Global Education to ensure consultants are well-trained for in-store event execution.
  • Track and document event performance, delivering global recaps to measure success and identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • College/University degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Strong creative skills and a positive, energetic, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptualize new ideas.
  • Self-motivated and determined with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to follow up unprompted.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps, and offer solutions.
  • Passion for the work and understanding of the Clinique brand's philosophy.
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge or familiarity with ELC analytic programs such as SAP, Qlikview, and Data Warehouse is a plus.

Qualifications

  • College/University degree preferred.
