About the Role

The Business Department of Queensborough Community College is seeking applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor faculty position in the field of Marketing. The role involves teaching and research in areas of expertise, sharing responsibilities for committee and department assignments, and performing administrative, supervisory, and other functions as assigned. The position offers a contractual teaching load of 24 contact hours for the academic year, with reassigned time for scholarship, and is part of the CUNY system.

Key Responsibilities

Perform teaching and research in areas of expertise related to Marketing.
Share responsibilities for committee and department assignments.
Perform administrative, supervisory, and other functions as may be assigned.
Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and service on committees.
Engage with diverse student populations and support their learning needs.

Requirements

Ph.D. or equivalent from a regionally accredited college/university in Marketing or related field.
Demonstrated professional experience in the field of Marketing.
Prior undergraduate teaching experience (in-person, hybrid, or fully online) in marketing and related topics.
Experience with curriculum development, program assessment, and committee service.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Brightspace.
Ability to teach diverse student populations.
A record of recent publications, scholarly research, and grants is preferred.

Qualifications
