About the Role

We are a microbiome science company pioneering innovations in probiotics and living medicines to impact human and planetary health. Seed Health was co-founded by Ara Katz and Raja Dhir, with a scientific board of leading experts across microbiology, immunology, bioinformatics, dermatology, oral health, vaginal health, gastroenterology, mental health, pediatrics, and nutrition. We are a global team with offices and research across Europe, Australia, Asia, and North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic vision, creation, and execution of integrated brand campaigns.
  • Conceptualize creative campaigns and always-on copy that translate science and product to meet our audience wherever they are.
  • Partner with SciComms and Product Marketing teams to develop new messaging for product claims, microbiome research, and scientific communication.
  • Top-edit and line-edit junior writers across various channels including emails, web, digital products, social media, packaging, and scripts for podcasts and TV ads.
  • Research and define campaign narratives using internal data and external observations, keeping a pulse on social issues and cultural trends.
  • Deeply understand the science of the microbial world to identify translational opportunities and inspire community engagement.
  • Develop and optimize larger creative concepts and narratives for digital and IRL channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing and growth teams on strategic thinking for brand and product campaigns.
  • Write and present creative concept briefs that inspire design and connect to strategic business goals.
  • Produce excellent copy and communicate effectively across departments to meet deadlines.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop post-mortems, learnings, and future campaign ideas.
  • Identify and address inefficiencies or challenges in projects to ensure successful execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in creative or campaign strategy, either in-house or at an agency.
  • 5+ years of experience in top-editing and line-editing junior writers across various media including emails, web, social, and scripts.
  • Proven leadership ability to inspire and cultivate excellent writers.
  • Experience building campaign strategies for new product and category launches.
  • Exceptional language skills and ability to translate messages into beautiful, compelling copy.
  • Strong collaboration skills with creative, design, marketing, and product teams.
  • Curiosity and deep research obsession, especially in scientific or technical topics.
  • Experience and interest in multicultural markets and cultural trend identification.
  • Ability to synthesize ideas into narratives, metaphors, and analogies to communicate complex science.
  • Pragmatic approach to bringing ideas to life through production realities.
  • Passion for developing innovative, headline-capturing concepts.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with science or microbiome-related content.
  • Background in marketing or communications within biotech or health sectors.
  • Familiarity with digital content creation and multimedia storytelling.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience in creative strategy and copywriting.
  • Proven leadership and editing skills.
  • Experience in campaign development for health, science, or biotech products.

  • Annual pay range of $145,000 - $165,000 plus equity and benefits.
