Associate Data Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and analyze data
• Own discrete research tasks
• Interpret data and report key findings to internal and external clients
• Assist in developing automation and streamlining custom work using ETL software and database query tools
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues
• Perform QA checks on custom work created by the team
• Troubleshoot data collection issues
• Write complex SQL queries
• Manage established and recurring custom analysis projects
• Escalate issues when appropriate
• Manage time effectively to meet internal and external deadlines
• Document report production and quality control processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Decision Sciences, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
• 0-2+ years of professional experience
• Proficient in statistical software (i.e., SQL), relational databases, and MS Office Suite
• Experience using database query tools and ELT software (SQL, Python, Alteryx, Qlik, etc.)
• Experience analyzing data sets
• Strong analytic, statistical, and quantitative skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with data automation and streamlining processes
• Knowledge of data visualization tools

Qualifications

• Educational background in relevant quantitative fields
