Job Description

About the Role

This position is a temporary 8-month data analysis co-op assignment from January 2026 to August 2026. Only students currently attending college or university will be considered. The role involves supporting data architecture, analysis, and collaboration with research and data science teams within a company committed to innovation, sustainability, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in designing data architecture and organizing data from manufacturing and global service partners, as well as front end ordering systems
Develop and implement automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks in preparation for analysis
Collaborate with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics, identifying trends and data features
Contribute to planning and road mapping new features and functionality
Support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models
Create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives
Document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams
Assist with other project activities as assigned

Requirements

Major(s): Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related engineering or science field
Junior standing or higher
GPA: minimum 2.5
Experience with SQL and Python

Nice to Have

C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills
Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools
