About the Role

The role involves helping to build an emerging warehouse management system that supports warehouse operations across multiple countries, with a focus on developing features for end users in hundreds of warehouses globally. The position is based in the greater Seattle, WA area and involves working on-site with a small, agile team dedicated to transportation warehouse management system development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop features and functionality for the warehouse management system used across global transportation warehouses.
Collaborate with team members during development, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives within a two-week sprint cycle.
Work closely with end users worldwide to identify their needs and implement solutions accordingly.
Participate in daily scrum meetings and contribute to team collaboration outside of these meetings.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
Solid Java coding abilities.
Experience with web development.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with object-oriented analysis and design.
Understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
Customer service-oriented attitude and great time-management skills.

Nice to Have

Angular, Bootstrap 5.
Spring Boot.
Experience with web-based and service-based architectures and deployment paradigms.
Experience with IntelliJ, Maven, GitLab, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Moderate experience with RHEL8/9/CentOS, bash, Linux LVM, sed, awk, etc.
Experience with Event Driven Architecture, Domain Driven Design, CQRS.
Kafka clients and Avro.
