About the Role

Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Data Management & Engagement, the Associate Director, Enterprise Data Management & Engagement will engage stakeholders across the organization to solve immediate data problems that impact business performance, while establishing foundational data practices. This role supports Gartner's ability to make data-driven decisions while mitigating risk and meeting compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve data quality and data management, with a focus on seller experience and productivity.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on strategic goals and operational requirements.
  • Drive collaboration, engagement, and alignment across departments by supporting business-led data forums and leading governance forums, including the Data Governance Council and Steering Committees.
  • Partner closely with CDAO Leadership on strategic priorities and support with development of 'executive level' meeting material and presentation.
  • Communicate business value of CDAO initiatives to key stakeholders.
  • Drive change management efforts through effective stakeholder management, communications, content, and more.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in consulting, communications, sales, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; can clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Strong collaborator and business partner.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity.
  • Proficient project and program management skills.

  • Experience with data management and governance frameworks.
  • Experience working in a corporate or enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of data-driven decision-making processes.
