About the Role

The Associate Director, Marketing at Taiho Oncology is responsible for developing and executing omnichannel marketing strategies for assigned products, focusing on healthcare professional (HCP) and patient engagement. The role involves analytics leadership, promotional asset and budget management, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Help lead development of the brand's omnichannel experience, including salesforce and digital strategies, and promotional tactics for both HCPs and patients.
  • Manage marketing materials from concept through Medical Legal Review (MLR) and final distribution.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as analytics team lead by identifying and analyzing key performance metrics, supporting campaign analysis, and contributing to market analytics and reporting.
  • Maintain an Excel-based centralized tracking system for Statements of Work (SOWs) and associated spend to support budget management.
  • Review all marketing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards and messaging.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, cross-functional partners, and the Agency of Record to align on brand needs, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage all aspects of the Speaker Bureau.
  • Attend US-based conferences to understand key market developments and perspectives of scientific leaders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience with significant responsibilities in HCP promotions.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of oncology/hematology experience required.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
  • Strong scientific and business acumen, with the ability to formulate strategies that identify long-term benefits for customers.
  • Ability to navigate internal review processes and foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Operational proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with patient promotions and/or sales.
  • Launch experience in pharmaceutical marketing.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in science or business-related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Competitive salary range between $200,600 - $236,000 annually, based on experience and market factors.
